Last Week's Message

If you missed last week’s message, you can catch it here 👇

Power Redefined

What does power really look like? In Week 2 of Redefined, Pastor Gary explores Paul’s message to the Corinthians that God’s power does not look like dominance, status or human impressiveness—it looks like Jesus giving Himself away on the cross. Power Redefined reveals how Christ crucified overturns our definitions of strength and success, produces genuine humility, and frees us from the need to control, compare or prove ourselves. True power is found in surrendering to Jesus, serving others and allowing our lives to point toward Him.

Here is what's Happening this Week (Nov. 1, 2026)
🗞️ Here is What’s happening at North Shore Church Sunday, November 1, 2026 Church Gathering Sunday Morning 10:30 am - Gathering together with the whole Family! Kids Church, Worship, Life-Giving Message and Jesus. Celebrating New Life and learning what Strength truly looks like. Hi Church Family! I wanted to share a few important updates, a wonderful praise report, and some exciting things happening in the life of our church. 🙏 A Praise Report & Continued Prayer Recently, we were asked to pray for someone in our community facing a significant medical emergency. We're thankful to share that there has been significant improvement! We praise God for this encouraging news and for the progress that has been made. Please continue praying for complete healing and restoration in the days ahead. ❤️ An Opportunity to Help Someone in Our Community Someone who has recently moved into our community could use a little help getting settled. We're looking for donations of gently used household items, including furniture, dishes, plates, cups, mugs, utensils, and other household essentials. If you have something you'd like to donate, please bring it to church this Sunday. We'll arrange for the items to be picked up Sunday afternoon, Monday, or sometime during the following week. Thank you for continuing to be a church that loves and serves our neighbours! 📋 Healthy Church Survey — Your Voice Matters! North Shore Church has been invited to help beta test a new Church Health Survey being developed through our district (WOD) office. While this will help the district develop a valuable resource, more importantly, it will help us understand how we can continue growing together as a healthy church. We would love everyone to participate! We'll be setting aside time during our Sunday services to complete the survey, including this coming Sunday, November 1. Please bring a smartphone, tablet, or laptop if possible. We'll have a few devices available for those who need one. You can also complete the survey ahead of time using the link below:Fill Out The Survey Here Your feedback matters as we continue moving forward together. We want to be intentional about growing as a healthy church that loves God, loves people, and makes a difference in our communities. 🎉 Schreiber Campus — Grand Opening November 8! We're excited about the official launch of our North Shore Church Schreiber Campus! Sunday, November 8, at 6:00 PMSchreiber Recreation Hall This is an exciting milestone in what God is doing across the North Shore, and we'd love for you to join us as we celebrate! Please note: On Sunday, November 15, our Schreiber gathering will temporarily move to Room 124 at the Schreiber Town Office, as the Recreation Hall will be needed for the municipal council swearing-in ceremony.S Campus 📖 Stay Connected Throughout the Week Did you know we publish blog posts based on our Sunday messages almost every week? They're a great way to revisit Sunday's message, reflect on what God is teaching us, or catch up if you missed a service.
