Kids Summer Day Camp - Surprise Party 🎊
  • Saturday August 15 - Day Camp Decorating Session III - 12:00pm - 3:00pm
  • Sunday August 16 - Volunteer Training (Session II). 6:30pm-8:30pm. This is for all volunteers. Help us take care of others with excellence!
  • Monday August 17 CAMP STARTS!
  • Pastor Katie has all the details of who is serving when. Give her a shout if you need to know where and when you are serving.
  • Friday August 21 - 3:30 Big Church Cleanup - Even if you haven’t signed up, you are invited to come and join us for the cleanup party!

Kill It Before It Kills You

Sin rarely destroys a life all at once. It usually begins with a small compromise—something excused, justified, or allowed to remain.

In “Kill It Before It Kills You,” Pastor Gary explores Saul’s partial obedience in 1 Samuel 15 and the sobering consequences of sparing King Agag. Saul tried to offer God sacrifice while withholding obedience, but Samuel reminded him that “to obey is better than sacrifice.”

This message examines how compromise slowly desensitizes the heart, how unaddressed sin eventually takes hold, and why followers of Jesus must confront sin seriously. Yet the message does not end with condemnation. Through repentance, confession, accountability, and the power of the Holy Spirit, God offers forgiveness, freedom, and a fresh start.

No sin is too small to confess—and no sin is too great for Jesus to forgive. Kill it before it kills you, and live free.

The spring snow melt and heavy rain revealed a leak. We will be digging up the corner in the coming weeks. We anticipate the repair to cost $1,600. This would get us about 24 feet of wall repaired (more than needed as far as we can tell). However, since we have equipment on site, It would be the best time to do more of the foundation work. There could also be some surprises once we dig down. Finally, a benefit of this project that adds a bit of cost, is our ability to add some rigid foam to provide better insulation. While this is just a start and the initial impact will be minimal, as we do this project over stages, it will greatly increase our building’s efficiency, however, the basement will always feel cold 🥶. Here are the ways you can help with this project. Give towards this project - Any amount helps, another $1000 gives us another 24 feet. Serve - Materials are ordered, We plan a work crew in the next two weeks. Please let Pastor Gary know if you can help, During the day, after work, or the weekend. Pray - As Pastor Elizabeth says, “You can always Pray”. Pray for a successful repair, no further damage and safety for our guys working. From kids to adults, small groups to special events, here's how you can get connected over the next seven days. Sunday, August 9th 10:30am Worship Gatherings - Join us for Sunday gathering in person or online. 0-3 Years - Self-Serve Nursery available in the greenroom downstairs at anytime with parent present. Kid’s Church - Age-Specific programming for our kids 12 and under. Kids Camp Decorating - Right after the morning gathering! Tuesday, August 11th Day Camp Decorating Session II - 5:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, August 12th Youth Swimming at Terrace Bay Pool - Meet During Open Swim at 6:00pm Volunteer Training for Day Camp and those working with Children and Vulnerable Adults. 6:30pm-8:30pm. Thursday, August 13th Women’s Summer Hangout at Mary’s House - 7:00pm Lakeview Drive.
